“Do you make these?”, is a comment I hear quite often on my Lavender Scented Sleep Sheep. Yes, absolutely! I made (and continue to make) each and every one!

So I thought I would show a few photos of four sheep in progress… Bodies are complete, stuffed and stitched closed. Tails are made but need to be attached. Faces are embroidered and ears are attached on all but one of the heads. After these steps are complete, heads will be attached to bodies, all those little yarn ends will be worked in, sweaters will be made, stitched together and edged, a felt scarf will be created for each and as a final touch I will hand-stamp an individualized name and serial number tag and add my Lavender Hill Hippie ‘makers’ tag to the underside of the body.

hmm… now which variety of lavender will they be named… Rosea? Munstead? Little Lottie? Provence? Twickle? Hidcote? Wyckoff? Grosso? Tucker? Croxton?
